As veterinarians we are proud to uphold our oath of ensuring the health and welfare of all animals. So if you have found an injured wild animal or bird we will always endeavour to provide you with appropriate advice, first aid treatment within our practice including humane euthanasia or referral to appropriate wildlife centres for specialist wildlife care and rehabilitation.
Please always ensure the exact location of the wildlife found is noted in case of re-release.

We urge the public to ensure fledgling birds and juvenile animals are monitored from a safe distance with minimal interference. Often the parents are close by waiting for a safe and quiet time to return to their young. So unless there is an obvious injury we would encourage you not to interfere with juvenile wildlife.
